Three weeks ago, my son had ski lessons with Mads at Troll Ski Resort with his school Programm. He used to be extremely scared of skiing, but Mads took away all his fear and he cant stop Talking about Skiing with him. Now, he has so much fun on the slopes and improved incredibly. Mads was truly the best instructor, and I can’t recommend him enough!!

What a wonderful experience! I visited Troll Mountain for the first time over the Christmas and New Year’s holidays with my in-laws, and I’ve got to say, I’m impressed. This charming, community oriented resort was a breath of fresh air compared to the big, hectic mega resorts. The parking was convenient, the rental shop was calm and organized, and the staff were warm, friendly, and accommodating. The hill conditions were excellent, our first day blessed us with a bluebird sky and fresh snow, and even the foggy second day offered great skiing. Troll Mountain’s unique All T-bar lifts were a new experience for me, as I’m used to chairlifts, but they added to the resort’s charm. The runs cater to all skill levels, from absolute beginners to advanced skiers looking for more challenging terrain. The lodge was cozy and welcoming, with plenty of seating to enjoy lunch by the wood fireplace. They serve hot food and drinks, making it a perfect spot to relax with family and friends. I also noticed they’re working on an exciting expansion, with plans for another lift and new terrain on a different mountain face, something to look forward to! Overall, Troll Mountain is a hidden gem I’d highly recommend to anyone in the area. Great job, Troll Resort!

Amazing family friendly skiing. Yellow lift for beginners is the best place to teach kids and beginners. Lift tickets are reasonable compared to big resorts. Very friendly atmosphere!

First time at troll mountain for skiing, such a cool little hill. They had about 40 cm of fresh powder which was awesome. Even with that, hardly any lineups, I might have waited 5 minutes in the line. Mind you I did go on a weekday, Thursday. However, super fun hill, lot of different types of trails from beginner to advanced. It also looked like there was a lot of opportunity to go and do some backcountry type trails. I didn't do those, but I saw other people ducking through the trees. They got a nice little small bunny Hill with a t bar for beginners. So if you're just learning how to ski or snowboard, this would be a great hill to come to. It took about an hour and 40 minutes to drive from Prince George, which is not too bad at all. If you haven't been here, and you've been thinking about it, definitely take the trip out. You will enjoy it. It's a hill that's close by, got a lot of fun runs for all different levels of skiers and snowboarders. Highly recommend it, and I'll be back again.
